As I struggled to move this morning before 5 am. I figured I would lay there for five more minutes....Well five minutes turned to ten and then twenty until eventually I realized my daughter and I were cutting it too close. I ended up in a cab this morning and $15 dollars out!!
Before I got upset I remembered that I caused this ordeal on myself when I decided to rest for an extra five, ten, or twenty minutes before getting started this morning. I immediately became frustrated with myself and my child because I chose to rest for longer than I should have.
Moral - Responsibility for my own actions!
It is sooooo hard to say, "you know what...I did this to myself" But we must remember that we cannot move on in life if we cannot learn to look at what we have done. It cannot always be someone else or something else that has caused our strife.
